Moon Baby Girl

I was asked to make two baby cards for two ladies who are about to go on maternity leave at work. Good job I have just purchased the Moon Baby set isn't it?!

The first card is for Alice who is expecting a baby girl - take a look


The pink baby gro that the baby is wearing is paper pieced with pink DSP and the rest has been coloured with markers and ink - both water colouring and sponging.
The little toys at the bottom were fussy cut and coloured with markers. The word BABY was die cut with my own dies from my stash - not Stampin' Up. The background is Bundle of Love DSP on a mat of Powder Pink card stock.

The moon baby itself is a little rocker. I followed a tutorial on Youtube to make it and it's very easy.

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
