Hello all - a little bit late with this but will explain later (scroll down too for a couple of party pics!) - first here is the sketch for this week's challenge over on CAS - Colours & Sketches

Now as I said above  - I was a little late with this post as I've been packing and getting ready to head off to stay with my Mum awhile. Dad has gone into hospital for the final part of his chemo treatment and he will be in for 3 - 4 weeks as he will be having some stem cell replacement too.
I have made loads of mini card kits to take with me so hopefully I shall still be able to fulfil my dt commitments too.

Before I go here is a picture of my Mum and Dad taken last week at Mum's 70th birthday party - Dad looks really well in this but I know as soon as his treatment starts he will be looking ill again


Here's a rare pic of me (I hate having my photo taken) and my baby brother - doesn't he look pleased to be sitting next to me???!!!!

    Cute card - I like that you rounded the corners. It's fun to see pictures of your family, too. :) Best wishes to your dad that he comes through the treatments with flying colors.

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
