A Challenge at Last!!

It seems ages since I have played in a challenge but today I have managed it! My husband came out of hospital Monday and it's been a long and tiring week but I have snatched moments in my craft room and this is what I have come up with


I have combined Crumb Cake with Wild Wasabi for this card and one of my favourite flower stamp sets - Fabulous Florets.
I made this card using the sketch from this week's Mojo Monday challenge



Materials
Stamps: Fabulous Florets
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, 
Paper: Subtles DSP - Wild Wasabi

So, my husband is confined to the settee this week convalescing. The cat loves this - he's close to the fire and he has a cosy duvet to curl up on - take a look

    Your cards using this set inspired me to get it myself Jacqueline - and the inspiration just keeps coming! This one is just gorgeous - with the separate panel of leaves and the cut-out flower heads. So pleased your husband is back with you; sending best wishes for his speedy recovery. Vicky x

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
