Teething Troubles.

I don't know if anyone has noticed but a the top of my sidebar there is a link to my new website where I am going to sell my own clear polymer stamps. They will be my own designs - that is drawn by me and I will also make them. Well - I have all the stamp making equipment, I have the designs and I was just scanning them into my computer when the scanner just gave up and stopped working! So frustrating! So it will be a little while longer before I have any thing to sell.
Today's card is one I made a while ago using a stamp I designed and had made up

This is simply stamped with a Memento ink pad in Tuxedo Black and coloured using Promarkers. Memento ink pads are the only ones I know of that you can use to stop the Promarkers bleeding when you colour. The orchid has been cut out and raised up on some 3D foam pads.
I'm sorry this is very short and sweet today - I have to finish preparing for my workshop, prepare for a meeting tonight and try and fix my stupid scanner - I fear that there will be growling and much gnashing of teeth! - Bye for now - Jacqueline xx.

I do love my nature stamps and I also love stamps of the sea whether it be above or below the waves. I have taken possession of a new set from the catalogue called Beauty of the Deep. I have made a card with this set as it lends it's self perfectly to the the new Boho Blue In Colour. Starting the Year with a Christmas Card

 I have decided to try and get on top of my Christmas cards early this year and so far it’s going well!!! Here is a card that has been made using the Sweet Gingerbread set - I love gingerbread houses and the stamps and matching dies are really cute. I used the sketch from  52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - this is a brilliant Christmas challenge blog (I started it many years ago with Mynn Kitchen) and it’s a perfect way to get organised with Christmas crafting. In The Frame.

Yesterday was birthday and my lovely husband bought me some crafting stash. Unfortunately he duplicated an ink pad (Distress Ink - Tea Dye) but the craft shop where he bought it were very kind and let me exchange it for something else. That something was a fab little Crafty Individuals stamp. So I raced home, turned my craft room upside down looking for my EZ Mount, and made this card for this week's Less is More  challenge. This week the girls wanted a one layer card with the theme 'In the Frame' Here is my card I made this by first masking off an area in the center of the card - directly on to a 5" x 5" white card blank. Then using my brayer I added some yellow, blue and green ink to the card. The masks were removed and the image was stamped over the brayered square.
